Johnson’s Cultural Web model and Kotter’s 8 Change Steps model were the other two analytical tools used to analyse the internal features and measure the change in Ascension plc (TED). The model was developed to pull together and systematically arrange a wide range of related features and implementation options that require consideration during the transition. The tool is used in gestating the character of change. The model uses a comprehensive framework that captures all the significant factors as deemed by the instigator. The model discovers the features entailed in a change model; these features are categorized in rings that can spur change, inhibit change or implement change (Norland, 2006). The implementer should therefore comprehend the appropriate features of change to enable them make sound judgment in a particular context. The change kaleidoscope contains eight features: TED strategic change timeline was chosen as three years. The main change agent was Jack Warner who had a limited autonomy leadership style. Jack Warner can be identified as the enabler of change because his introduction spurred a turnover of  £160 million. Emotions were meant to be used in our thinking, together with rationale, because they come before we think and act, they are the fire that ignites our creativity and energy. This is not only useful in our personal relationships but also in our work place because when we understand what others and ourselves are feeling, it makes it easier to keep our feelings in check and relate better with others especially in a team work setting. Charles Darwin recognized the usefulness of emotions and how they are essential in our everyday life, they cannot be stopped as they are produced by the brain without our control but how we react to them and how we let them influence our lives is all up to us. Reuben Bar-On coined the word Emotional Intelligence in 1988 and in 1995; Daniel Goleman noted that Emotional Quotient (EQ) was more useful when looking for a leader than Intellectual quotient (IQ) and he introduced its importance to the workplace.
